Join Filmmakers’s Gallery for a special screening of the documentary STRIKE A POSE, w/  special guests Kevin Stea and Carlton Wilburn featured in the documentary on Jan 30th. Meet with the Filmmakers’ Gallery and guests for a VIP reception upstairs in the VIP lounge of the Palm Springs Cultural Center (formally Camelot Theatres), and then head downstairs to the Palm Springs Cultural Center’s Community Theatre for a screening of STRIKE A POSE at 7:00 p.m. Stay afterwards for a Q + A with your special guests.

The One Year Pact Premier Screening Feb 12th

Join us on Feb 12th for a one time screening event for local filmmaker Gina Carey as she debuts her newest feature, The One Year Pact. A red carpet photo event will take place prior to the screening at 6 pm with a cast and crew Q&A after the film. Palm Springs Cultural Center Anniversary Celebration

Join the Board, Staff, family and friends of the Palm Springs Cultural Center on Saturday, January 20th for our Building Dedication and Tenth Anniversary Celebration. Our Founders, Ric and Rozene Supple, have generously donated the Camelot Theatres to the Palm Springs Cultural Center, and we want to honor them, celebrate the gift with the community, and open our doors for a week-long celebration of culture and the arts.

Everyone is welcome, and there are lots of activities and a couple of exciting surprises!

The Certified Farmers’ Market opens at 8am, Desert Film Society has a screening at 10am, and the dedication ceremony begins at noon.

Later in the day, celebrate two very special screenings of FREEDOM TO MARRY, hosted by the Richard Norris Weissman Trust. Get tickets HERE

The Palm Springs Cultural Center presents The Filmmakers’ Gallery: Aflred Hitchcock’s MARNIE w/ special guest Tippi Hedren.

Join hosts Paul Belsito and Steve Roche of the Filmmakers’ Gallery and special guest Tippi Hedren for a champagne reception at 5:00 p.m. At 6:00 p.m., Tippi  will be signing her book, “Tippi: A Memoir.” Then join everyone in the theatre for a conversation with Tippi Hedren about the film MARNIE. Introducing Palm Springs Speaks –  a new three-event Speaker Series presented in the west end of the Coachella Valley by the Palm Springs Cultural Center and the Friends of the Palm Springs Public Library.
